Product Introduction

Rabies virus (RBV) belongs to the genus Lyssavirus of the family Rhabdoviridae. It is bullet-shaped, and it is composed of a spiral symmetric nucleocapsid, an envelope, and single-stranded RNAs. It is mainly found in the salivary glands and saliva of diseased animals. Rabies is a zoonotic disease caused by rabies virus and has a high mortality rate in humans.

This product does not require any additional equipment and is used for in-vitro qualitative screening for rabies virus antigen in saliva samples of dogs, cats and other animals. This product is used for self-test.
