Product Introduction
Feline herpesvirus (FHV) is a virus that mainly causes acute upper respiratory infections (URIs) in cats. The virus is readily transmitted between cats through:
▪ Direct contact – through contact with saliva, ocular or nasal secretions;
▪ Sneezing;
▪ Sharing or food bowls and litter trays;
▪ A contaminated environment (including bedding and grooming aids).
This product does not require any additional equipment and is used for in-vitro qualitative screening for Feline Herpes Virus (FHV) antigen in ocular and nasal secretions. This product is used for self-test.
